You heard it here first! Next weekend, Sept. 25-26, 2010 Shoppers Drug Mart is holding their Bonus Redemption event. The redemption levels are now the same all across Canada at 50000 pts = $100 and 95000 pts = $200 so our friends out West no longer lose out. It would be a good time to use those coupons expiring on Sept. 30th. Now to wait for the flyer and make my shopping list….
Thanks to CrazyQT for the early heads up!
Here in the East we used to get the lower level for redemption weekends as well:( Sure is good to see that is changing !! But I guess we can’t complain since we do get points on out scripts that our drug plans pay for.:)
How do these bonus redemptions work? Can anyone explain to me please? 🙂
I am with Imack30, can someone explain? Cheers!
I think you mean that we all lose out equally now!
My question is, why do they have ‘redemtion’ days? Is it because you get the extra bonus points back when you redeem a certain amount? Thanks.
If you have 95,000 points you can redeem any day $170 (Ontario) worth of things. On “BONUS” Redemption weekend they are giving you extra $30 to spend. Which means you get $200 worth instead of $170.
ahhhh now i get it, thanks! Cheers!
