Visit a Shoppers Drug Mart location on November 7th to take part in their annual Fall Beauty Gala event in support of Look Good Feel Better and The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Tickets typically cost $10 but include a $5 donation to support LGFB and CBCF depending on province.  Your ticket includes access to complementary makeovers by a Shoppers Beauty Advisor, skin consultations, a free goody bag (samples vary a lot by store and year) and refreshments – plus you usually get a coupon to help you save on products you buy during the gala.

Stores often have extra gifts with purchase plus prize draws every hour with multiple chances to win, and additional draws for larger gift baskets at the end of the day.  Makeovers and “extras” like the nail polish application vary by store, maybe check a few to find the one that suits you.  I like Shoppers Drug Mart makeovers because they do not pressure you to buy every product, just give you a list of the items they used so you can buy whenever.

Since this is a national event, their Optimum offer for the day is likely beauty themed.  Some stores do have very limited space and all have limited goodie bags so RSVP with your local store when they start advertising!  You may need to make an appointment for makeovers and any extras like the manicures my store typically offers.  Last year I bought my ticket about a week before and they gave me extra samples when I booked including a few full size products!
