Staples Canada has a new one day promotion on today where you can get the LG Smart 3D Blu-ray Player originally $139 on sale for $79 with free shipping. First off, this goes great with the DVD/ Blu-Ray movie deal I posted about today on Amazon Canada. This DLNA certified blu-ray player has built in wifi, 3D blu-ray playing capabilities and you can wirelessly send audio from your TV to your smartphone. You can also have access to thousands of movies, apps and more on the web just by using your remote. It comes with a 1 year manufacturer’s limited warranty.

This blu-ray player is available for $148 at Walmart and even more at Dell. There are only 4 reviews on Staples website (one 5/5 stars, two 4/5 stars and one 3/5 stars. It seems as though it’s a good price, easy to set up and easy to use. It’s 3D which is noted to be cool but not necessary. The wifi links quickly and internet speed was pretty good. However, some downsides noted include the remote being slow and not always responsive and there’s not many apps available.
