Starbucks Canada has started up another one of their Rewards Members exclusive offers, where you can earn bonus stars for adding more espresso kick to your morning coffee. The offer, as is pretty standard for Starbucks nowadays, is the ability to earn a bonus star when you either purchase an espresso based beverage, or add a shot of espresso to any handcrafted espresso drink.

I personally received an e-mail saying that I could earn my bonus stars by adding a shot of espresso to my espresso based beverage, and this offer can be redeemed as many times as you like between the promotional period of February 10th-16th. Starbucks likes to cater their offers specifically to your account, so since I tend to purchase espresso beverages anyway, they are offering me bonus stars for when I add espresso shots (which I think most of us can agree, is sometimes quite necessary).

If you’ve received this offer, but don’t necessarily want to splurge on your morning coffee just to receive bonus stars, americanos are always a great option for those of you who don’t want to pay for the milk and also can’t handle straight espresso. Also, a little insider secret that most aren’t savvy to, if you ask for half an inch of steamed milk, there’s no extra charge!
