I believe the price of admission at the Cineplex near me is ~$7.99, so not bad, especially on flicks that aren’t exactly gonna be Oscar winners.

This is great! The extra savings will add up! It is also so great for them as it promotes signing up for a Scene Card (although I don’t know why it needs promoting 🙂 )
Holy, that’s crazy! Admission at Cineplexes in Vancouver is around $12.99+12% tax! I think we have a half-off Tuesdays deal though :).
Their promotion was that if you had a scene card your tuesday night charge was 5.99 for the first two tickets, then 7.99 for any others.
So 10% off of 7.99= not a great deal!
