Subway Canada Coupon For Free Ham and Egg Muffin and coffee Valid Until September 7th. Is it legit?

subway_canada

A Sc reader has used the suggest a deal form on the blog and sent us a coupon for a free ham and egg muffin and coffee until September 7th.  I was just wondering if anyone else has received this coupon and if they can email it to us to confirm that its legitimate.  I’m wondering if this was the “rain check” that was sent out for people still in line at 10am at the free breakfast on August 19th. Either way if you can help please do.  Thanks!

As much as I appreciate a free…well anything…..the subway I went to was not worth the gas. Sandwich was plastic and gross and coffee was, well lets put it this way, It looked the same when it came out as it did when it went in….nasty bad!!!!!

Oh no thank you. Not again, not even if you paid me…well maybe if you paid me.

  4. Shadyman says:

It’s probably the raincheck, since it looks almost identical to the announcement of the free day… Somehow I doubt it’d be accepted if printed out.

  5. Ashley says:

you cannot print it…must be the hard copy coupon given out from last Thursday

and I disagree…their coffee was good

  6. Insane says:

Very smart of you Boo to check and see if it’s a real coupon before posting it. Avoids a whole lot of drama later.

I think it’s one of those things, if it’s too good to be true, it probably is!

  7. Ahoy says:

coffee was good, but the sandwich surprisingly wasn’t as great as anticipated! But it’s free, so I’m not complaining, haha!

I was given like a dozen of these coupons on Saturday when I got a sub from my local Subway.
    They are legit

  9. Tara says:

I think that IMAGE is not legit… but the actual paper coupon (and not put there by printer ink) is legit.

I saw the woman at Subway initialling them before handing them out, so maybe at some locations they need to be initialled?

Would not go back for the sandwich, it was nothing special and not worth the 20 min wait.

  11. Sally says:

Ok so it was just a handout, Boo and I both weren’t sure so the best choice was to ask everyone 🙂

  12. KMP says:

I got 3 of them when I went for lunch on the 19th. No initials on mine.

  13. precious says:

i got a few of them when we ordered subs on the 21st adn the guy workin there directly handed them to us.. so imsure they are valid

I went to a Subway here in Ottawa whose building is under construction… Literally 3 people in line. Fun stuff.

/I guess people can’t read the big giant “Open during construction” signs 😉

I went to Subway yesterday in Alberta and got a bunch of coupons for free food (no purchase necessary) like a 6″ sub, flatbread sandwich, cookie, muffin melt. Each one is valid for a different week. The coupon says they are only valid in Alberta though. I don’t know if they are handing these out in other provinces as well.

  16. MaRy says:

    they are totally legit.

  17. Kayjai says:

I used one this Morning (in Winnipeg)
    Works fine

  18. Skippy says:

Sandwich was disgusting the coffee is the no-name Starbucks version.

  19. Alberta_Girl says:

Coffee was fine – I think it is Seattle’s Best not Starbucks. Sandwich was disgusting.

I will check in subway on friday… I hope they are still handing these out! TY

I took it to three Vancouver Subways, all three rejected it on sight.

Glad to see this discussion. After my experience with a printed off coupon, I did a google search and came across this thread. A few folks at work printed this coupon out and Subway seemed to accept them at some locations and not at others. I was one of the unlucky ones that was rejected. The young lady working at Subway was quite rude and after literally throwing the coupon back towards me across the counter, said that it wasn’t valid and needed to be the original “glossy paper with the Subway logo and yellow background on the back” and not “this cheap, printed off color copy.” Meanwhile, some people at work claimed they printed it off in black and white and they were accepted. I guess it depends on which cashier you get. Have a great day!

TRied it this morning in Vancouver and it was rejected. Was given some lame excuse saying the coupon won’t be accepted because they already had their free breakfast and can be used only after SEpt 7. The person wouldn’t even look at our coupon even after we tried to tell her the coupon said “UNTIL Sept 7th.” I’m very disppointed at Subway. Why make coupons when their store doesn’t accept it.

Just in case you have a coupon and live in Vancouver. The one on 1109 Main Street. It’s by PAcific Central bus station.

I like the coffee. Well not the sandwich…
