I wonder if it applies if you buy a $20.00 gift card, anyone know?

Yes, it worked for me. I re-loaded a gift card with $20, I did this online through the Tim’s website, and payed with my Amex card, and the following day I got my confirmation that I had received a $10 statement credit.

Oh wow that is awesome. Thanks for your help.

Yes it works in store too. Purchased a GC at the drive-thru and received confirmation.

yes, I bought a $20 gift card at the store and got a $10 credit. My husband has 2 different AMEX accounts and he registered them separately and bought 2 gift cards, using a different AMEX card for each purchase and he got the $10 credit for each card.

Also, if you have 2 different people under the same AMEX account, like a husband and wife, you can register them separately, using different emails, to get 2 credits, like my husband and I did.

Just make sure that when you buy your gift card, they swipe the gift card to load the amount purchased because the cashier almost forgot to swipe the gift card when I was purchasing it. It should also show that you purchased the $20 amount on your receipt with a partial display of the gift card number on your receipt.

Or you can by a quickpay card for $20 on the website- and they’ll charge you only $8 to mail it out! LOL

My card is a Scotiabank Amex so I’m waiting to see if that will work or not or if it’s from the actually Amex company. Time will tell.
