VIA Rail Canada has announced mandatory vaccinations. The Government of Canada announced that as of October 30 2031, passengers ages 12 and over will be required to be fully vaccinated in order to travel on VIA Rail trains. To allow travellers time to become fully vaccinated, there will be a short transition period during which they will be able to travel if they present proof of a valid COVID-19 molecular test performed within 72 hours prior travel. This is an alternative to showing proof of full vaccination. This transition period ends on November 30. If travellers have not yet begun their vaccination process, or do not begin soon, they run the risk of not being able to travel on board VIA Rail trains as of November 30. This won’t last long; look at Amtrak did the same thing now, no one has to be vaccinated to go on an Amtrak train.
Those “vaxxed” are scientifically proven to get and spread covid yet they can go by plane or train. It also contravenes the Canadian constitution, people do not have to submit to experimental shots and they have a right to know all the ingredients. This is about passports and taking away our freedoms not about health. Scientific studies show unvaxxed are not the cause of variants the “vaxxed” are. Hopefully people wake up before they are total slaves to the system.
