WestJet Canada today announced a one-day $11 fare for guests travelling from Toronto to Ottawa or Montreal. This fare is only available for purchase on April 17, 2007 for travel before September 3, 2007.

“We are confident that our outstanding guest experience brings guests back,” says Duncan Bureau, WestJet Vice-President, Sales. “Our research shows that ninety per cent of WestJet guests fly with us again. Low fares have successfully stimulated other markets for WestJet throughout its history. We have identified an opportunity in Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal and hope these low fares encourage current and new guests to fly with us.”

As part of this initiative, starting April 17, 2007, WestJet is offering guests $29 and $49 sale fares until April 24, 2007 for travel between Toronto and Ottawa, and Toronto and Montreal before September 3, 2007. The airline is also offering $49 fares until April 24, 2007 for flights from Ottawa to Orlando and Tampa, Montreal to Orlando and Tampa, and Toronto to West Palm Beach for travel before May 13, 2007. $11 one-day fare – This offer is only available on Tuesday April 17, 2007 for travel until September 3, 2007 on selected flights most days of week in one direction from Toronto to either Ottawa or Montreal. This offer is combinable with our other low fares on the opposite direction.

$29 and $49 Toronto-Ottawa, Toronto-Montreal fare – This offer is available on selected flights booked between April 17 and 24, 2007 for travel most days of week before September 3, 2007 between Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. All fares are combinable for round trip, including the one-day $11 seat sale.

$49 USA fares – This offer is available for flights booked between April 17 and 24, 2007 for travel until May 13, 2007. Fares are available with no day of week restrictions.
