w00t, nice find! I signed up and pledged to do things I’m already doing, so now I don’t have to feel guilty about receiving a bag for doing nothing. :-o

    Thanks for posting this!

  2. Adam

I signed up for one around 4pm…but a friend tried to get one and the site said they were all out…but the good news is there will be more next Monday at 12:01am Pacific time.

  3. Panda Power

We’re sorry, but you’re not one of the first 10,000 to pledge and win a bag this week.
But don’t worry — we’ll have another batch of 10,000 Earthbound Farm reusable shopping totes to win next Monday (starting at 12:01 a.m. Pacific time), so please try again!

  4. Tanya

It will not allow me to do it! there is no I’m finished button, it allows me to hit all th sunflowers and that it it!

  5. NANCY

Thank you. I think everyone should pledge themselves to promoting a better environment…a better world.

  6. Linda Peters

there is no finish button on the page anywhere, anyone else run into this problem.

  7. Adam

Linda: After you click on the little sun on the bag, you click “add to my pledge” and then click on “I’m finished, add to my pledge” and then it will take you to the registration form for your free bag.

Thanks, Boos. I tried last week but wasn’t one of the lucky ones. But I did become better informed about green living :) . Tried again a few minutes ago and Bingo! a bag will be on its way in 6–8 weeks. We use totes instead of plastic bags but never seem to have enough. This one will be a nice addition. Especially since our Maxi just started charging for plastic bags. I’m happy about their decision and wish more stores would do the same.

Does anyone know if this is a cloth tote?

Took the Pledge. Awesome information. I think I’m doing everything right, but this showed there is so much more to it. GREAT info! Thanks! The page did not show me anywhere to ‘submit’ after I clicked and took the pledge. Therefore, was unable to get the bag.:-( I was looking foward to it! :(
Thanks for the info, tho. K

  14. Jovin

Looks like it’s too late now. It doesn’t give you an option to take the pledge even.

  15. Chi of Steel

I received my bag in the mail today! They were nice enough to declare the item as a gift so that I wasn’t hit with paying customs/duties. It also came with an information pamphlet on the benefits of organic food and coupons (only valid in US though).

  16. pippinelkhound

I got mine last week. It’s a good size bag with great graphics.

  17. pippinelkhound

Oh, and it said a total of 50,000 would be given away.

  18. Deb

I got mine in the mail today too! declaration said ‘a gift’ so I wouldnt have to pay any duty on it. How nice of them.…
Nice bag… Im taking it to Cuba with me in Nov & will give it to one of the locals to use… I take several of these grocery bags when I go…they are so appreciated by the locals in Cuba. :-)
