Yup, W’loo counts as Kitchener. On the fb page, I asked if Stratford counts as Kitchener, and they said yes! Earlier, they said they email the coupon codes around 8 or 9am Pacific time, but that might change when they move east. I ordered contacts yesterday afternoon from Clearly Contacts and I received them via FedEx this afternoon, about 24 hours later. Super impressed with that, and it cost about half the price of buying through my eye dr. I just hope that my benefits doesn’t get weirded out and refuse to pay my claim.…

humm so I am in NS…but frankly..i need a tad more info than THAT…any idea what city?
Shipping and handling is about $15.00, any frame let alone one with free lenses is worth $15.00…and you can get designer frames such as Coach, Dior, Chanel, Emporio Armani, Nike Calvin Klein it all just depends what is on the website at the time and there is always atleast 200 frames to choose from. If that isn’t worth the $15.00 to ship it then I don’t know how you manage to feel yourself with purse strings that tight!
What do I need to be ready to take advantage of this promotion? An rx? Anything else? What does “1.5 index lenses” mean?

I got my selection on freebie day in Edmonton. I ordered tinted glasses and since I needed a higher index I had to pay extra, I paid $80 after all was said and done.
Just so that I’m clear… we are emailed the code prior to our city’s giveaway date, we print off the code and high tail it to the store on that date VERY early to avoid missing the first 500? With us we must have our prespcription and we must also have the frames already chosen from the website?
Shipping for my contacts was $9.95 but I saved $8.76 on my order using the code “Smartdiscount” (10% off), which expires today.

@Tammy — Edmonton already had it, it was like a few days before the Calgary one like a week or two ago.
@Collen — If you signed up then yes, you get an email with the code right before it begins and you have to get online (there’s no store) and order your glasses (have your prescription handy). Obviously it would help if you already had your frames picked out beforehand.
Also Clearly Contacts does free shipping on X amount (forgot what it is), so maybe just pick one that will give you free shipping.
How long is a eye glasses prescription valid for? I am just wondering if I have to go and get a new prescription or if knowing my numbers is good enough.

Yay! Got my free glasses today! I was part of the Kitchener giveaway! I opted for a better lens so I had to pay for that but a complete pair of name brand (Coach) glasses for $30 is so worth it! Can’t wait for them to come!
