Recall Warning: LL Bean Kids’ Insulated Water Bottles Recalled Due to Concerns of High Lead Levels!

LL Bean is recalling its Kids’ Insulated Water Bottles due to a positive reading for a presence of lead on the outside bottom of the bottle where the outer vacuum layer is sealed. The amount of lead could potentially be toxic if ingested; however, there have been no reports of any incidents related to the use of these water bottles. These recalled items (item number 297684) were sold from July 23, 2015 to May 11, 2016.

If you have any of these LL Bean water bottles in your home, you’re advised to stop using it and return it to where it was purchased. You can also contact LL Bean directly and the company will reimburse you via gift certificate, credit card credit or cheque.
