Dorel Juvenile Canada Recalls Swivel Wheel Jogging Strollers. Health Canada said it recalled Dorel Juvenile Canada single and double occupant swivel wheel jogging strollers that have a quick release mechanism for removing and re-attaching the front wheel.
Health Canada said if not installed properly, the front wheel of these models can become loose and detach causing potential crash and fall hazards.
Approximately 12,360 units of the recalled strollers were sold in retail stores across Canada, from January 2010 to April 2016.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled jogging strollers and contact Pacific Cycle to obtain a free repair kit. The repair kit includes a replacement mechanism for securing the front wheel that uses a traditional screw on/off method of attachment instead of the quick release lever method of attachment shipped with the product.
