I can’t really blame them for putting a time limit on sales like this, they’re really good. And I think they have them often enough that if you miss one, you can wait until the next one!

  2. nisiepie says:

they are making it pretty obvious that they don’t want to offer specials to the stay at home moms who do most of their shopping before dinnertime.

they want to offer these sales to the ppl who are rushing home after work, and who are less likely to use coupons and stockpile.

  3. Jerry says:

And nobody knows WHAT vitamins or products are included in the offer 🙁

Wednesday will be one big snowy day also with 15-30cm snow projected 🙁

  4. cathy says:

Nisiepie, maybe they were getting a lot of complaints from people like me who have a day job and can’t be at the store at 9 am to clear the shelves. Tuna was on sale last week, pretty much everywhere. I didn’t see a single can left on the shelf anywhere and I went shopping Friday night and Sunday.

I’m okay with them occasionally letting other people have a chance at sales.

Cathy, I find even though the coupons are 5-8 they did not have stock of the stuff I wanted for the last coupon

  5. minifi says:

SDM’s vitamins and supplements are expensive compared to other retailers such as Walmart and RCSS. Too pricey for me, I’ll pass.

  6. Sue says:

Rexall has the same offer (not so time sensitive!) all the time with Jamieson vitamins (and their store brand). At least if they’re not on the shelf you can get a rain check. Does Shoppers offer the same service? Like others, would be nice to know WHICH products but suspect it may be regional. Doubt I’ll get there though due to prior commitments.

  7. cathy says:

FallenPixels, I’ve pretty much given up on checking out sales at Shopper’s. The really good sale items are usually gone within a couple of hours. I find it a waste of time to go with the intention of buying a sale item.

  8. abbasgirl says:

I haven’t been to Shoppers since the December bonus redemption. This one I might try to get to. But I’m not going to print the coupon out until Wednesday because I’ll probably end up forgetting all about it or not being in the mood to go shopping. These sales just seem inconvenient as far as I’m concerned and I don’t bother much with stuff that’s inconvenient.

  9. L6941 says:

I get my vitamins from vitacost and iherb. Much better value for your money.

  10. Sue says:

Question – does Shoppers offer rain checks for offers like this? Or for anything? The few times we tried to get items on sale, the shelves were empty with no plans (per the store) to restock. So…days left for the sale and they’re done. So frustrated every time this happens that I forget to ask if they do rain checks.

    • FallenPixels says:

They may give you a raincheck for the price but not the coupon, I can usually get them to include the BP on the raincheck thoough

  11. Tania says:

Need at least 2-3 days advance notice to read the e-mail.

  12. Sparkles says:

Not a fan of the timed sales. I’d prefer to see longer hours (maybe 10-6) as I’m usually making and eating dinner at this time!

  13. Arteme says:

I managed to take advantage of this deal last night and get my very expensive probiotic capsules. These are the same price at Walmart as at Shopper’s (no deals out there), so it was great to get a second bottle for free!
