TD Canada Trust is “committed to working towards a greener planet, and part of that commitment is to help our customers make green-friendly choices too!” Their Paperless Record Keeping option helps you reduce your ecological footprint, as well as offering a secure online environment backed by the EasyWeb Security Guarantee, enjoying real-time access to up to 18 months of your transaction history and the opportunity to review your cheque images online FREE. Plus it is just easier, you don’t have to worry about losing your statements and have access to all your accounts at your fingertips. I have been paperless for years now, but if you aren’t, it is definitely worth checking out, you can always print your statements out if you really want to keep track that way too.

Make the switch to Paperless Record Keeping for all your personal chequing and savings accounts and TD Canada Trust will deposit $5 into each account that you sign up! If you bank online, you should get a notification pop up to sign up for this.

As far as I can tell, you need to be “invited” (you see a message inside EasyWeb to offer $5 for you to go paperless)

I’ll keep an eye on my EasyWeb (I’ve gone mostly paperless for all chequing accounts)

Yes I think you are right, it should pop up when you log into your online banking account on easyweb.

All companies should pay their customers a monthly credit of atleast 50c to go paperless. I am sure they save much more by way of printing costs, paper costs, postage, labor, extra envelopes etc etc. I am glad to read that TD believes in sharing ther benefit with the customers. most other companies pay zilch!!
