I just found out the sale is also available at Staples. Walmart actually has it for couple bucks less at $128.
Do your research before you buy this, or ask the kid you are buying it for! When they were $199 I totally was going to buy one for my son — but then I realized that there is so little memory with the Arcade, that it was worth going with the Elite — LOTS more memory is needed for games, Marketplace stuff, and music, etc. You can buy an add-on hard drive for the Arcade, but then that adds a big chunk of money.

Yeah, from what I heard…extra remotes, memory and other things will cost you and arm and a leg.
If you go to the Toys R Us in Wood bridge, they have another type of set that have the console, controller, 20gb harddrive for like $80 and their the special ones. Well, that was there before christmas. They had them in the Gaming section behind the cashier.
