Trade in your old MP3 player & get $50 off any iPod Touch at Future Shop

iPod Touch Canada

At Future Shop but in store only, trade in your old MP3 player (any piece of junk you have) and get $50 off any iPod Touch. That’s not a bad deal considering that iPod Touches almost never go on sale. So if you’re in the market for an iPod Touch that’s your best deal.

This offer applies to both 3rd generation and 4th generation iPod touches.

it is good even you can buy a new MP3 is market less than $10 anywhere now… this is a good rewards system

Wow considering how cheap some MP3 players are, that’s a great deal. I have an Ipod Touch (32 GB 1st Gen) and I absolutely love the thing. I stayed away from them for years because I thought they were all hype but they are actually really awesome (especially when they are jail broken hehe).

Does anyone know if we bring in more than one MP3 to trade in, can we get like a $100 discount off the Itouch?

Check http://www.futureshop.ca/ — its mentioned on their homepage
“Get $50 off any iPod touch when you trade in any MP3 player. In-store online. Limit one iPod discount per customer. No rainchecks.”

Seriously guys you can sell your ipod touch on Craiglist for better price. I sold my 2G for $180 2 months ago.

@bambinoitaliano It’s any MP3 player for the 50 dollar discount, not just ipod touches.

You guys know that the actual Apple store has a similar deal all the time, right? If you bring in an old iPod, working or not, any generation, they’ll knock 10% off the price of any new iPod.

10% is nice, but it sure isn’t the same as $50. 10% off a $250 4th Gen Ipod Touch is only $25 — just saying.

Couldn’t you walk in their store, buy a 20$ mp3 player and then trade it in? lol

Thank you for posting this…Went last night and brought an old mp3 (that has never even been charged, but was not in it’s original box), it was a very cheap one, and they took it no problem. Took $50 off, the 8G came to $226 with tax instead of $280+

tried to trade-in a never used mp3 player for the 3rd gen. 8gb touch and was denied. The staff person insisted it was only applicable to 4th gen. units… booooooo!

I still have my U2 edition iPod video; will they still accept it? It is still in excellent working condition…

  15. Kier

Yes, they will accept old , broke lcd etc, you name it as long as its mp3 no question as. Hurry promo last until Friday i think. Now im looking for screen protector and case does anyone like to recommend which brand not so expensive thanks!

  16. Nioole

No, you can not bring in 5 mp3 players and basically get a free iTouch. It states one trade in per customer. Are there any stipulations on how you pay for it? Does it have to be on a FutureShop credit card?

Kier, I love iSkin products. I have a pink skin for my blackberry. I will be buying a pink one for my iTouch. I love it. They are tad expensive, but they last.

    Hello,

This offer just renewed for this week, apparently. I missed it the first time, but they are offering a $40 discount on a 4th generation ipod touch or nano (what the heck? 4th gen nano? or do they mean 6th gen?) on trade in for any old mp3 player. According to the flyer, ipods get more money back… maybe $50? Anyway, good between April 15–21, 2011.
