Well.ca Exclusive Promo Code Deal: Save $11 Off on Purchase of $40 or More

The other day we posted about a promo code from Well.ca that was limited to first time orders only and also had limited amount of people that could redeem the code. Today we bring you a slightly better promo code that we have personally coordinated through the kind people over at Well.ca, though it will still only be for first time customers only (but there is no cap on the number of people who can redeem it!) This promo code, SMARTCANUCKSAVINGS, will provide you with $11 off on your order of $40 or more, which means that no matter what you will also qualify for free-shipping (as this is provided on all orders of $29 or more).

Since Well.ca is having a sale on a bunch of my favourite gluten-free pantry items, I decided that this would be an excellent time to stack these deals with the SmartCanucks $11 off coupon code. I was able to purchase $41.27 worth of gluten-free goodies from the meal solutions and grains sale, 20% off condiments sale, 15% off canned goods sale, and the 25% off udi’s Gluten Free sale for a total of just $30.27.

This exclusive promo code will only be valid until June 15th.

I’ve just tried to use this code and I get the error message that it’s for first time customers only.

      Hi Christine,
Sorry for any confusion we may have caused you, the post has now been changed to reflect that it is in fact only for new customers! Thank you for your patience 🙂

The new code still does not work for existing customers. The error code prompting that the coupon’s only valid for first-time customers still pops up.

      Hi Banana,
Sorry about the confusion. You are correct, the promo code is only valid for new customers only!

Really mad about this….the site was very slow, but I persisted. I spent a long time choosing my items, only to be stopped at the end, with the error message that it’s for first time users only. I had stopped shopping at Well.ca because I find them more expensive than other stores these days, as well as the recent increase to shipping requirements. This coupon brought me back. WHAT A MISTAKE.

Annie, I’m so sorry to hear that you went through all that trouble only to find out at the end that the discount would not work for you. I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you. The post has now been fixed to reflect that it IS in fact only for first time customers. We will try in the future to make sure that all of our posts, especially the Well.ca ones, have the fine print included in them. Sorry again!

Yes I commented about this same problem on the previous post. Guess SC bloggers missed it since it was less than 24 hours ago.It doesn’t help to be told after the fact that it’s first-time customers only or that there’s a limit on # of time of times it can be used. Like others, I also spent a lot of time shopping to fill my cart.

    Here’s that post:

I’m curious to know how SC got this coupon code, i.e. how did Well.ca distribute it? I get their newsletter in 2 accounts and got no notice. When I tried to use it I got the ‘new customers’ message. I know referral codes are for new customers only but I figured a code directly from well.ca would be good for anyone. A Google search did not show anyone other than SC having this code and I didn’t see it on their FB page.

When I tried to use it via my sister’s account (new customer), got the message that the code could only be used 50 times.

I do think it should be mentioned in the blog post if a code is only for first-time customers – it will save frustration and time, especially since time = money and this site is primarily about saving money.

Why is it always for new customers only? Well.ca are already so expensive…what makes them think customers will return when there is no discount for them to use? I agree with Annie…epic fail smartcanucks and well.ca

      Hi Sarah,
I’m sorry that you feel this way. We were not informed about the offer only being provided for first time customers initially, which is why the original post contained that information. I’m sorry if you wasted anytime on this offer. Once we realized our mistake, we fixed the post to reflect that it was in fact for first time customers only. Again, so sorry if we caused you any confusion!
