Roots Canada is kicking off their mid-season sale for spring where you can pick up some hot new sale items, that have just been added, for up to 50% off their starting price. The only exclusions to this sale is that it will not include gift cards and items from Roots’ specialty collections, such as Tom Thompson, NFB, Mary Maxim, and Norquay Paddle.

Within the women’s section, most of the products that are marked down by the maximum rate of 50% off are the winter items that are still hanging around, like these cozy fleece leggings (now $24.98) and cashmere fleece pants (now $64.98). That being said, I was still fortunate enough to find some good deals on products that are from more recent seasons. For instance, this spring Bryde coat is now on sale for $79.99, though before it was selling for $130.

The same can be said for the men’s sale, as most of the products that are being sold for 50% off (or more) are from the winter collection. Like this York Fleece shirt, which is now only $34.98, though before was selling for $78. A nice spring jacket that I found while digging through the sale was this men’s gardener jacket, made from 100% cotton. The jacket is now on sale for just $89.99, though before it was being sold for $138.

There isn’t a large selection to choose from in the leather mid-season sale, though I did happen across this beautiful side-bag, called the Monique Bag Prince. Considering that this cross-seasonal bag is normally sold for $248, paying the reduced price of $198.99 wouldn’t be that bad, especially since you’ll be able to use it year-round.
