The 15% off sale, with coupon code, AirCanada and WestJet had yesterday was cheaper then this apparent 50% off sale.

I have been looking for a flight from TO to LV for a few weeks now and the regular west jet fare about a week ago is the same as what I am getting with the seat fare sale, which seems odd to me?
I am going to still hold off. I know these things change by the minute it seems.

WHOOH, this is not a 50% off sale. This is no sale at all. The last time I checked, Air Canada and West Jet had the same price for the flight to Vancouver. It may be a dollar or two off but I am getting the exact same price Air Canada is offering with West Jets 50% off sale.
How is West Jet still in business when they are technically selling the same seat on Air Canada for double the price?
AC has been pricing themselves back into the market recently. This doesn’t compare to the AC sale that was 2 for 1 during the Olympics. I like WS but they are losing the customers they brought on board based on prices alone.
