I just called and they would not give me a quote. My car insurance renewed just a while ago and I was told it would cost me a lot to cancel my existing insurance and go with them so the guy said it wasn’t worth giving me a quote.
Just called the number above and because I’m a Quebec resident he couldn’t give me a quote, does this apply to QC resident if yes is there another number to call ?

I just called from London and managed to get through, but based on my age bracket he said the quote would be high and he refused. 🙁
Wow, same here.. Didn’t want to give me a quote, so when I mentioned this deal and said I wanted the card, he laughed and hung up on me while saying “good luck with that”!! I’m thinking about going to my local CAA store and throwing the card in their faces!
wow I haven’t called but from the sounds of it, their customer service sounds horrible…. I can’t believe their refusing to do quotes even if its high? Hello that’s how you get customers…. if I was a customer calling and they said that to me, I would never get insurance from them. I can understand not giving gift cards… but not doing a quote seems a bit crazy if your eligible for their service.. makes them sound like they don’t want clients
This is a scam. I provided all the info and got a quote. When I asked about the gas card the questioned me as to where I heard about it and I said online. They refused to send the card because they’re not honouring quotes where the promo was found online. You need to have a letter sent to you. Thanks for the poor customer service CAA…you won’t be getting my business any time soon. And for the record, the quote I got over the phone was much higher than my current premium with state farm.

I provided information on the phone and was promised a 50$ gas card after I provided information for a quote. They said I would get the card in 6-8 weeks (3 weeks ago!!!!! I never got the card !!!!! Shame on you! I am a long time customer. Maybe I don’t need caa anymore!? Thanks for wasting my time. PS just received another call TONIGHT, of course I declined the enormous savings offered. When I said “no, thanks” she says “so you don’t want to save money?” I just laughed, yeah right.
I’ve called in the past for an auto quote and they were brutal- horrible good customer service and just plain rude.. I’m still going to call and try and get a free gas card though- I did receive the letter, so fingers crossed.
