I’ve had a 7-11 phone for years and I’ve never had any problems, nor regrets.
For me I love the fact that the time purchased is good for one year.
I bought it for that very reason as I rarely use it.
ive had my phone for years as well. Perfect timing, my minutes expire soon.
Question for Skippy and Scarecrow. I have a cell phone, and have let my contract with Fido expire as I rarely used it. Can I purchase one of these “top-ups” and use it with the phone I already have, or I do need to purchase a new phone via 7-11?
Thanks so much!
Hi Dotty, you would probably have to purchase a sim card from 7-11 because these top ups only work with Speakout wireless. They now sell sim cards separately so you don’t need to buy a phone. Hope that answers your question!
Dear Keem,
Thanks so much!! This sounds like an especially good deal, then, since it comes with a free SIM card.
Such a good deal! I got this exact same deal last summer, except without the free sim card ($10 is cheap anyway). I wanted to buy one of the 7-11 phones but they were generally sold out. So I just brought my UNLOCKED phone from Tiger Directs. Also, I believe their service uses Rogers cellular receptions which is amazing. But I generally don’t make calls, just use text ($15 for unlimited).
