A Blast from the Past
-Mirabel Airport’s opening weekend was an open house on Oct 5 1975 to the general public… The Concorde was there and so was this new Air Canada 747-200Combi on static display.. I used to love the big black nose and thought it was THE best looking 747 in the Sky’s at the time. It still appeals to me today in fact. If I recall correctly Air Canada had just received delivery of this first Combi 747 just prior to this event in July.

Checked it out with and without the 10% discount code that Jerry provided…funny thing is, the lowest fare was 169$ before I applied the coupon, but with the coupon code the lowest fare was suddenly 179$…final discount would be about 5%…better than a kick in the ass, but it always perturbs me when they change the price because you have a coupon…kinda defeats the purpose.
The 10% coupon says it’s only valid for travel until Dec 10, not Dec 31.
Plus they don’t allow infants when using a promotional code. So what, I’m not allowed to bring the baby along if I want to use a promotional code? Hogwash. I hate that I am forced to use Air Canada.
