Destiny takes place in a future where humanity is on the brink of destruction. An object called The Traveler that possess great knowledge and technology came shortly after our present day and helped humanity into a golden age of expansion throughout the solar system, until The Darkness appeared and destroyed most of humanity. As a last ditch effort to save humanity, a city was built underneath The Traveler and is protected by the Guardians who combat the aggressive forces that have occupied the Solar System. This game has amazing reviews for its storyline and graphics, but the gameplay reviews are a bit mixed as much of it involves cooperative play and players say they end up repeating a lot of levels.
As the game is on sale for the same price at both Amazon and Best Buy, and both sites offer free shipping on orders over $25, it’s a matter of preference of which store you’d like to buy from. However, it’s important to note that Best Buy offers the lowest price on the PS3 version of the game, as Amazon has it listed online for $38.98.
