Participating Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada, and online at TimHortons.com, are now accepting American Express Cards!
There is a wonderful offer for the first 100,000 American Express Cardmembers to register an eligible American Express Card AND spend $20 or more at a participating Tim Hortons in Canada or online at TimHortons.com. You must do this between October 10th and November 10th, 2013. Use your registered American Express Card at Tim Hortons and earn a $10 statement credit from American Express.
To be eligible, the purchases have to be made at a participating Tim Hortons restaurant or online at TimHortons.com during the offer period. You must charge these purchased to a registered American Express Card. These purchases can include a single purchase of $20 or multiple purchases during the offer period (that total at least $20). It seems to me that gift card purchases qualify for this offer as well. Although gift card shipping usually costs about $7.00 so it might be better to purchase the gift card from a Tim Hortons restaurant. This deal seems pretty good except for the 8 week waiting period for the statement credit.

- Register your eligible American Express Card online at http://amexnetwork.ca/timhortonsoffer between October 10, 2013 and November 10, 2013. Any purchases made at Tim Hortons before registering your American Express card do not qualify for this offer.
- Once you have registered your American Express Card, spend a total of $20 or more (after taxes) using your registered Card between October 10, 2013 and November 10, 2013 at any participating Tim Hortons restaurants in Canada that accept the American Express Card. You can also make purchases online at TimHortons.com. A single purchase or multiple purchases that total $20 or more during the offer period qualify!
- Earn a $10 Statement credit from American Express. This credit will show up on your statement within 8 weeks of this offer ending.

It appears that this deal is only valid for American Express members who received an invite via postal mail. You can double check by calling American Express.
