I’ve never been to an Applebee’s although it’s been on my list of restaurants to checkout. Interestingly the only Applebee’s I’ve come across were either in the US or Europe. We don’t seem to have too many Applebee’s restaurants in Canada. When travelling I always seem to find somewhere better or a restaurant unique to the city I’m in to try out and Applebee’s doesn’t get any love.

There is an Applebees just around the corner from us. When they first opened we went a few times but had found that their menu items are over-priced for what you get. We also tried their breakfast which is pretty basic but again, over-priced. Maybe if the mailing list discounts are good enough we’ll give them a try again. Thanks for posting. 🙂

There’s one right at Hwy 410 and Steeles- it’s right off the highway- I’ve been a couple of times but nothing that spectacular. I do believe there is also one in Mississauga on Mavis close to Brittania.

there’s also an Applebee’s on Lundy’s Lane just west of Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls… we were at the falls 2 weekends ago.. 🙂
Boo I think you are from Kingston because you have mentioned it before. Well there is a Applebee’s in Belleville. Ive never been there but ive heard they were pretty good but probably depends on the location.
Dont bother, I signed up over a year ago.
All you get is menu items and promtions…new drinks and things you probably don’t care about.
Haven’t got a free or discount coupon yet.
Thanks Boo but I will have to pass at this deal. Never had a great meal at Applebees and leave disappointed. Service and food are not that great.

There are at least 2 Applebee’s Restaurants in Winnipeg.
I went to two seperate Applebee’s in the states this summer and cannot wait to go to the one that is in Victoria! It was awesome and the 2 entrees and an appy for $20 is a great deal. Hopefully I won’t be disappointed.
I agree with Marilyn – had great meals at Applebees in Northern Montana. Would love that food and service in Canada!
Well I am glad to say, that we have one in Barrie and we have always had good luck there. Maybe on two occaisions have I had something just not up to par. Plus they have the cards that you punch, after 7 dinners you get a free one. Anything on the menu…which can be over 22 dollars sometimes. Plus we belong to Direct Buy and we can purchase gift cards for Applebees at a discount through them so we are very pleased with Applebees up here. I must try one in the states though…..
Windsor has 2 Applebees, however we’ve got a lot more local restaurants that serve better food, i.e. Gilligan’s if you’re a burger lover
I’ve been to two different Applebees on seperate occasions and all I have to say is EEEEEWWWWW!!! The first location – I had hair in my food, and the second location my garlic toast was all burnt and the plate they served my dinner on was absolutely NASTY!!! It was soooo dirty you could feel nothing but dried up crust everywhere! What did they compensate me with to make up for the aweful service???? $5 off coupon on my next meal??!! Never again!!

i work for applebees i highly doubt if you found hair in your food that you would only have gotten a five dollar coupon. This is a great place to work and the food is awesome
Applebees’ in Barrie Ontario is just AWESOME!!! No complaints and the company was great as well. Been there a few times and that orange Chicken Salad bowl is delicious!!! More than enough food in one serving.
I love Applebees and signed up for the mailing list to receive coupons and have yet to receive ANYTHING! I get the occasional email about a new menu item, but never any coupons!

I can’t believe how good BEP’s new song is! The Time is extremely catchy even tho it sampled the song from Dirty Dancing! I cant wait for The Black Eyed Peas finishes their next album at the end of November.
Calgary’s apple bee’s bartender is a skinny looking crackhead his teeth are all black and rotten i guess from all the crack he smokes and has a terrible attitude i don’t know how they can let someone that has that kind of high-jean work in there restaurant those black rotten teeth make me wan’t to barf my food up when i eat if you go in to eat you will see what i’m talking about.
The most expensive plate of Mac and cheese i have ever had. I think there was meant to be some blackened steak in there somewhere. Never again!!!!
My husband and I ate at Applebees, Courtenay, B.C., for the first time today, May 12th/12 and enjoyed he food very much. The most enjoyable part of the meal was our server Amanda. This young woman has to be the most exceptional server my husband and I have had the pleasure to be served by. I could go on forever, but will refrain, bottom line, so good, couldn’t have been more helpful & friendly. We will be back

after years of visiting Applebees in Minot, North Dakota, we were thrilled when we found out that Applebees were going to open in Red Deer. However, it didn’t take long to find out the difference between the US and Canadian restaurant. Our restaurant had poor management from the very beginning along with a staff who could have cared less whether you were served or not.
I think our biggest surprise was the fact Applebees remained open as long as it did. So long Applebees, nobody will miss you
