This is actually not new. I’ve been having this at this pfice for a while now.

  3. Does A&W expect us to just forget that TERRIBLE ” formidale ” commerical with the food critic ????
Indroducing ???????? This thing has been out since last winter !!
It’s a terrible sandwich. The patty is too soft, the onions are sloppy and the sauce is nothing special.
Unless they’ve changed it, stay away.

I was wondering when they were going to come out with a grandma burger 😛

  5. I haven’t forgotten the burger, but apparently I’ve forgotten how to spell !!!

    Thanks Sally.

I find A&W burgers to be of a higher quality than McD, BK, or Harveys. I actually prefer A&W over HERO.

Prime rib with caramelized onion sounds delicious!

I love A&W. Recently I ate there and it was very good. I try all the new things, I like it. I have never been sick after eating there.

This week on the prompting of a friend, I ate at McDonalds Restaurant in Moose Jaw Moose Jaw Sk

Moose Jaw SK McDonalds gave me and my friend food poisoning

Poisoned at McDonalds in Moose Jaw Sept 18 2011 6 pm

I have not tried McDonalds in over five years beacause of the bad food, but this week a friend invited me to McDonalds in Moose Jaw Moose Jaw Saskatchewan on Main Street.

We got “two can dine for 8.99. We each got the quarter pounder with cheese pop and fries.

We ate inside, then went out to the parking lot and sat in the car to talk for about an hour. We had business to discuss.

After about ten minuites in the car, we both started to have stomach cramps. Suddenly, my young friend jumped out of the car.. “sorry he said, I had to pass some gas”. Then it was my turn. Within the hour we both had painjful gas pains, flatulence and terrible heart burn.

I didn’t sleep much, and had to get up to take some Tums, which helped a bit.

All day I have stayed close to the bathroom, as I have experienced diareah all day. It is now almost 3 pm, and I don’t feel well.

I called the manager to tell him, as a service to him, so he could fix the problem. He asked me what happened, I told him exactly what I told you.

He replied in a tone as if he was my father and I was his teenager. He spoke down to me, and said, “well, what do you want me to do” in a confrontational attitude.

I had been polite and factual up till this point. Now I was angry. I told him that what I wanted to start with, was an apology.

He said he already said he was sorry, which he did not say. I told him what I wanted now, was to speak with the owner, to tell him what kind of manager he had hired.

The manager grunted and told me he would have the owner call me.

I still feel really OFF, and it could get worse, as food poisoning is a very dangerous thing, I am not out of the woods yet.

The owner has not bothered to return my call, so now he has really piossed me off.

Now I am going to tell 30 restaurant web sites what happened, and somewhere along the line, he will pay for blowing me off.

DO NOT eat at McDonalds in Moose Jaw Moose Jaw Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. It is a danger to your health.

A fancy new renovation and nice bathrooms, doesn’t mean the food is good.

If you get food poisoning here, you can expect to be treated like shit by the manager and the owner.

No, I will not remove this post, or the other 29.

    $3.99 is the regular price.

  13. Jen says:

Not new. Just a new marketing strategy.

I agree with some I find A&W burger and fries better than McD. The least, aesthetically, A&W burger and fries look much better. McD burger buns always look pressed and the fries is stale and hard like a day old. I just happen to gotten lazy in the last few days that i pick up burgers and fries from both places and notice the difference.

  15. Twinmommy says:

I prefer A&W over McDonald’s too! I really like the Teen burger. However, my children love their happy meals so if we are going for a burger as a family we will go to McDonald’s. I know this is a bit off topic, but I want to mention that not all McDonald’s are not created equal. The one near to our home has amazing french fries and the buns are always warm. The one closer to my work were I took the kids last weekend for lunch served us cold buns and zero salt on the fries! Muffins at the highway McDonald’s are larger than the ones in the suburbs. I think it’s time for McDonald’s to start sending out their quality control people!

  16. Angela says:

I actually prefer McDonald’s. While I enjoy A&W’s burgers more, 99% of the time I end up with an upset stomach or worse after eating at A&W.

  17. Yuki says:

I LOVE A&W’s burgers… They’re so much meatier, definitely a better value and I love the onion rings. They’re SO good. I’ve had the grandma burger before, but I’ll always stick to my uncle burger!!!

  18. Leo Walsh says:

It’s almost 6AM I’ve been up 3 times so far. Didn’t feel well about 2 hours after having a Grandma and rings at A&W in Ingersoll. Ont. I did have Cheerios and Banana in the morning (don’t think that did it). Won’t be going back there for a while…

  19. Eric says:

I’m just like Angela in that A&W tends to leave me with an upset tummy. It’s either the seasoning they put on the beef patties or the sauce they use. The only ones that didn’t upset my stomach were the Spicy and Fiesta Momma Burgers.
