Has anyone ordered from b&bw online and had it shipped here? Is there duty and extra fees at the border?
I live in the lower mainland in BC. I called the BBW at Guildford Mall in Surrey and they have these bags, same price same everything but for Friday ONLY. Going up against the US I guess.
I order from BBW Online all the time – since I’m not close enough to a store. BBW partners with Purolator, so all your customs/taxes/fees are done at the actual point of sale checkout. Nothing extra is due when the pacel arrives at your door. The 25% coupon code will NOT be applicable if you add the VIP bag to your cart.
If you live close enough to a store, there is going to be Black Friday promo bags at all the stores WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Friday only… so this would save you the cost of shipping (which is normally $13.50US to Canada).
Hey Denise, I am surprised that the bags will be same price and same minimum purchase. I have noticed that the bags are usually a bit more pricey here and I think the minimum amount that you have to spend is usually higher. Maybe they are trying to match the Black Friday deals.
I think since the exchange rate is so close this year, the companies are really trying to be competitive. It’s nice to see.
I order from B&BW all the time, love them. Although when I added the bag to my cart, my shipping rate sky rocketed to $30 (OMFG!) BEFORE taxes and duties, then totalling over $100 after taxes and duties. Kinda takes the oomph outta the deal for me.
