Be careful – I saw this a few days ago and loaded up with 5 of all sorts of products – just before i checked out i ordered a couple of inexpensive lotions – when i went to check out my order total price seemed very high but prices somtimes don’t change until checkout – bottom line any cheap item will count as your free item – so my $ 5 lotions were free – while my expensive items were not discounted – i tried to call – onlin store was not open (sunday) so i emailed then emailed again on Monday and i called – customer service wasn’t nice at all – american operators on the bodyshop.ca – wouldn’t void my cc wouldn’t do anything – didn’t treat me well – i buy a lot and have never returned or complained ever! 1st time on this site too. Won’t deal with body shop online again.
Jen, whenever something like this is on sale, you always get the item with lesser value as *free*. it’s not just body shop that does this, i believe it’s most stores.
groupon is also expiring this sat so it’s your last chance to use it. Yes I am aware that lowest price is the one that is free but the big push to buy 5 get 2 free makes buyers forget – just buy items of same price – it is just a reminder i wish someone reminded me! Disappointed mostly in the attitude of customer service reps – i called seconds after i placed the order and they wouldn’t do anything to void the order or really couldn’t care less about customers –
we should do a survey of online stores who have great customer service – coldwater creek is one of the best.
