its just a free appy – no purchase neccessary. Well it doesn’t stipulate that on the coupon. They just send you an email that says :

My BP allowed me to use multiple coupons as well. I used my free appy, my mom used her free birthday meal coupon, and we were able to use my kids club card to get my daughter’s meal free (because I bought a meal for myself). I didn’t think they were going to let us use all of them in one visit, but they did! All of us ate for $20! 🙂
