Burger King Canada ‘Satisfries’ Event: FREE Sample of New Reduced-Fat, Reduced-Calorie French Fries

Burger King Canada Fries Sampling Event

Burger King Canada introduces Satisfries to the menu! This new French Fries crinkle-cut has 40% less fat and 30% fewer calories than McDonald’s French Fries. Burger King Canada is assuring us that Satisfries is made with real whole potatoes but with less oil than usual. The secret to their lower calorie count is a new batter that doesn’t absorb as much oil. These fries pack only 145 calories compared with 222 calories for other competitors per 70 grams.

The lower-fat fries will be available in Canada on Monday, September 30, 2013 in small, medium and large sizes, for 30 cents more than the regular fries.

In Canada free sampling promotion will be launched for a limited time and no purchase will be necessary. Those interested can sample them free on four consecutive Fridays from noon to 2 p.m:

  • Friday, October 11, 2013
  • Friday, October 18, 2013
  • Friday, October 25, 2013
  • Friday, November 1, 2013

personally, if i want a burger, i want a burger, and real fries.. not all people binge eat junk. why make the food more healthy and less appealing? my opinion. i am not going to mcdonalds for a salad. its like going to a hooker for a hug.

Yep I agree with you tudorchick, the few times I get a burger I’d rather get a real burger. That being said there’s the couple of times each year that one craves a shitty Big Mac (and usually end up regretting the decision).

“its like going to a hooker for a hug.” BRB, lolling!

Thats ridiculous.First off, they might taste exactly the same or even better, and if the pure knowledge that they are a little less bad for you makes them less appealing then there is an issue right there. Its like a kid deciding they suddenly hate french fries because they hear its made from vegetables. Secondly, people who want “real burgers” do not go to fast food places.
