Is it just me or does anyone else find the Rexall “specials” really annoying? They send out a booklet of coupons, and post the “sale price with coupon” on the shelves. Which is deceptive because it means that it really isn’t a sale at all, its a coupon and then I can’t use manufacturer’s coupons that I have. Which means I wait for sales at other stores where I can get a sale price AND use a coupon. So I am effectively boycotting them. It is unfortunate that they are the handiest drug store to my place, but its worth it on principle (if not for the 50 cents…). Their loss.

actually you can use a manufacturer coupon WITH rexall coupon. 🙂 just call your store ahead of time to confirm, but i have never had a problem. i called head office about this awhile ago and they told me this was fine.

Okay, so in small print it says “Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.” So does that mean if I use the coupons from their coupon book on some items that I cannot use this $2 coupon?

I tried to use manufacturers coupons with the rexall coupons, i was told that it wasn’t allowed, but the casher told me that she would let me do it this one time since i had a small baby with me!

What was the cashier thinking? The manufacturers coupons should be allowed to use at any time without question asked. Vendors are getting $$$$ back from the manufacturers regardless and this has nothing to do with the store promotion coupons. You should speak with the store manager or owner or even contact the head office. That is what I would always do if matter is out of hand. Can’t let this type of matter bugged you.

Cashier always makes up their own non-sense decision without consulting their management team. Go figure. Thinking they could do what they want.
