If my math is correct, the 15k points works out to be an additional 20% (of a $75 purchase) points. Similar to their 20x points event but doesn’t benefit if you go beyond the $75. So purchasing the minimum amount should net one 15,750 points.
Are you sure about the gift card?
If you buy a $85 gift card, use it then to buy $75 (+tax) in stuff, you would get: 850 + 750 + 15000 bonus = 16,000 pts. If 15,000 pts = $25 at SDM, 16k pts is equivalent to $27.7… which is 36.9% off your original $75 (pre-tax) purchase.
This deal is slightly better than the 20x points event… buying a $56 gift card and buying $50 in stuff… gives you only 35.2% savings (off $50).

Technically by the 12th you could buy two of the $50 M/C GC @ 109.90(with 4.95 activation fee) get 11080 bonus points (5000 per card) and then spend $75 on Saturday or Sunday to get an additional 15000 pts = 26080. You would have about $25 left and you could spend it on whatever other bonus pts are on next week.
