Why take a chance with this stuff. There is no best before date. Just a code and a 1 800 number to tell you if it is out of date. Shelf life is one year. (but what is the date) Dare you to call and ask why no date, They will say there is no law to make us put it on.. but the shelf life is one year, because of the oils in the mix.. No you can not sue the s t out of them if you get sick, because there is a 1800 number to call…

I find expired products at my tbs almost everytime I’m there. Last time it was Kraft salad dressing the time before was pringles stix and before that was chef boyardee.

My BS won’t let me use coupons with sale items. I have contacted head office twice asking for thier official coupon policy and have not received a response AT ALL. That was over 3 weeks ago. The Bargain Shop has horrible customer service and I will be avoiding this place like the plague! I don’t care if they are giving the muffins away, until I get an actually response and apology, I will not be returning!!!!

  6. Momand2kidz says:

Perhaps NA you should go on the tbs website and lodge your complaint there? You will have a better chance of getting a response then. What tbs are you shopping at because they DO take coupons on sale items. I have always received great customer service at tbs and I am sorry to hear your experience has not been good.

  7. Ashling says:

NA,take the coupon policy from their website when you go in the next time. It’s about half way down the page. http://www.tbsstores.com/faq.php
Sale item or not, they should be accepted!
After having so many hassles at TBS, I emailed head office repeatedly(about a year ago) and harassed them for something concrete until they finally implemented a policy 🙂 There’s a thread here on SC about it.
    Chin up! 🙂

I read their coupon policy after the event happened and too saw that there wasn’t anything about not taking it on sale items. I used the contact button on their website and have not received any response one way or another. I emphasized that their policy doesn’t say anything about sale items and would like them to get back to me regarding this issue and they still have not gotten back to me after 3 weeks. Really dissapointed with this company.

  10. NA says:

That is wonderful Ashling! Way to get things moving. I might try taking the policy with me but right now, they have left me with a very bad impression of them…

  11. Joyce says:

I tried using coupons on sale items at our local TBS and was told promptly that they don’t do it. So I contacted head office and they also said no. So much for me shopping there!

  12. Stephanie says:

Wouldn’t this be $0.50 each? Am I missing something?

  13. ccmp1974 says:

    4 for $3 = $0.75 each and then minus the coupon ($1 WUB2 or $0.50 each) = $0.25 each

  14. Stephanie says:

    oh ok thanks 🙂

  15. I can’t believe she has a sister!
