Metro is running a Valentines special where when you buy a dozen long stem roses for $24.99 and a Ferrero Rocher 87-100g heart you get 25 bonus Air Miles reward miles. Stems are 50cm and the roses come in assorted colours. Offers ends February 14, 2012.

If you’re not an Air Mile collector and looking for something a little cheaper No Frills has a dozen roses for $12 (doesn’t say if they’re long-stem) or you can get a mixed bouquet at Walmart for $9 (picture shows a few roses, carnations, mums, baby’s breath I think and some other flowers I can’t identify).

So my Valentines is going to consist of Stars Wars 3D and Swiss Chalet thanks to wonderful people at General Mills and Splenda. Still working on one other surprise for the boyfriend I won’t release details just in case and if my boyfriend happens to be reading this supermommy wouldn’t mind some pink roses and a box of Lindor truffles, hint, hint.
