Has anyone ever shopped in one of these stores? There’s one in Bolton, but I’ve yet to make my way over there to check it out…..is there good selection?
It depends on the store. There are 2 in Hamilton – one is absolute crap, the other is OK. Brantford is about 30 minutes away for me, and I prefer that one. It’s a mishmash of all kinds of stuff – best description is a WalMart-like outlet. You need to know your prices, though, because some stuff is not necessarily cheaper. Also make sure you take a good look at the stuff before you buy (especially clothing which often tends to have holes, tears, etc, but there are still good items mixed in, and watch for expiry dates on the food). That being said, there are still amazing deals to be found. I recently picked up Children’s Place PJ bottoms for my son $3, top 99 cents, and brand name deodorant $1.47.
