Ive been using these for about a year now (got them in the US). I was excited to use these and found them great, but recently have had two articles of clothing ruined, due to the what Im guessing was the fabric softner portion leaving an oily stain on a pair of capris and my nice new 800 count sheets 🙁
Ive heard others say this has happened to them, so be warned!

  14. Dizzy says:

Thank you for the post. I too am interested in trying out and seeing how it works.

Please remember to add a space for the postal code or it will complain and you need to fix it.

This is one thing I will never try. I have heard too many people complain about these leaving oily stains on their clothes and personally, I’d rather not risk that.

  16. Erica says:

my bf has used these. The laundry detergent stuff is fine, but he does not put the sheet in the dryer with the clothes because when he removed the clothes from the washer the part that has the detergent is still pretty filled with detergent.

  17. Elizabeth Blaze says:

I bought these sheets a while back when they were on sale, plus I had a coupon of course! I don’t like them at all! They may be OK for regular laundry that would come out clean even with water or cheap soap but don’t bother if the items acutally show dirt. I did a white load with the Purex sheet a couple of weeks ago and most of the load came out looking like I had put dirty laundy in the dryer. Yuck!

Now that I’ve read other posts, I think I’ve figured out why one of my nice cotton blouses has some oily stains on it! I was wondering what the heck I had done to stain it like that – I’m not that messy of an eater! For those of you who’ve suffered the same fate try rewashing the items after pre-treating them with dish soap. It cuts the oil right out!

  18. CarlyinCanada says:

HMMMM! I’ve never had these oily stains mentioned above..but when I use the sheets I run the water in the machine for a few minutes with just the sheet inside then add the clothes….not sure if this is why!

  19. couponfreak says:

I also have used these not very often as I like to hang out my clothes whenever possible. For really dirty clothes I put 2 in the wash (I would double up regular detergent so I did these as well and I always let them soak in the wash while I am separating my clothes. I have noticed they work better on warm and hot not as great on cold.

  20. ccg says:

I have a front load newer High Efficiency type washer and dryer, so with my type of machine the water never fully sits in the machine for long periods. I didn’t wash anything fancy, however i wouldn’t say my clothes were any cleaner.. if u had issues with the product did u contact purex for a refund!?

  21. amanda says:

Can these be used in front loaders?
