I sent an email to websaver.ca about another offer, to find out what to do about coupons with regards to the strike. They didn’t respond back. I wish we could save coupons on websaver and then order them when we were ready.

I tried to sign up my fiance as well through his fb account but I didn’t sign out of my websaver account so when the ‘authorization’ went through on the shreddies page I was denied on the websaver page.
OH WELL!! I am just thrilled to get the free shreddies!

Site is working, but the websaver re-direct cut out. Once it cuts out, the coupons can’t be accessed again…the FB page is littered with complaints. Waste of time – too bad!

Why do they always have to go through Facebook. Can’t access Facebook at work. What are the odds I will get one later tonight?
Well… Great freebie but I had to try 3 times, with 3 different Facebook accounts and 3 different Websaver accounts before I could finally have my coupon. I kept loosing my coupon (so don’t change language like I did!!)
Lots of complaints on the Facebook page. I did one myself. They are announcing 20 000 free boxes, but if everybody has to go through 2 or 3 try, they will probably only give away 10 000 boxes.
I am not happy about this… But I am happy about free cereals!
Just a word of caution about these facebook freebies…by allowing the “access” to get the freebie you are also giving the company and all the people they sell data to…. your personal facebook information such as: profile pictures, friends lists etc.. This put me off and even though my privacy settings are set to the max on facebook. Otherwise a good freebie for those willing to give away all their personal info and photo’s.

True you are allowing them access to basic information, and sometimes to allow them to post on your wall. However, you could always create a separate facebook account that has very little info on it, and use that strictly for facebook freebies, and keep your personal facebook separate.
Personally, I don’t care if they want to know where I live or how old I am. It’s all for their stats and demographics, and if it means I get a freebie out of it, I’m fine with that! 🙂
Re: comment about Facebook access. I set up an account for my cat and use that. Works great and I don’t have to worry about ticking off friends.

Wow! I am impressed with Schreddies. There was a problem when I tried to order my coupon and I think it is great that they are taking extra measures to make sure their fans get their free box of cereal. I e-mailed them and cannot wait for my coupon!
Do you remember the free sample of aquasource a couple of weeks ago? Fans were angry on Facebook and they never took such measure to ensure their happiness. Way to go Schreddies!!
