I saw the commercial for these and I was once again surprised that people still come up with more ways to pollute the environment and their bodies with myriads of chemicals! Why people want that stuff on their skin I’ll never know…ick.

  14. consumatrix says:

For those who don’t want to use chemical products to eliminate static cling, try the ‘dryer balls’ that you can buy at Linens ‘n Things (and maybe other places).

They are two blue plastic balls with bumpy little points on them that cost about 12 bucks.

I’ve used mine for more than 2 years and I never have any static cling.

They don’t, of course, add any special scent or soften your clothes, but they do eliminate static.

And likely (over time) save money too since you don’t need dryer sheets.

  15. Rachel says:

Giant Tiger has them for $5. They work great and they save money, although I do miss the smell of dryer sheets.

  16. mememe says:

yay exciting! always love a nice smelling freebie! 🙂

  17. ambie bambie says:

I found those dryer balls for $3.99 at Pharma Plus a while ago, but I haven’t seen them since…
