If you buy 5 cases of Nestle Pure Life water this summer, you can get a $10 Grocery gift card. The cool thing is, the grocery card you get will depend on where you buy your water. They have a bunch of eligible stores, like Superstore, IGA, Walmart, Zellers, Safeway, ect. The dates for this rebate are July 1-September 30. For all the details, please see the printable rebate form found here.
Thanks to CouponLadybird for posting this great offer.
thanks , now find water on sale
cases of 24 aren’t included – that’s bizzare – and a bummer
Thanks – I love the 9 packs of watermelon flavour and they are included.
Warning – anyone going to shop I notice Save On Foods is not on the list, check your store before you shop!
Doesn’t this post contradict that: http://smartcanucks.ca/the-bottled-water-dilemma/
Dotty – to a degree I’d say it does. But keep in mind that they were posted by different people. Also, just because (at least) one person doesn’t agree with the purchase of a product doesn’t mean that deals for it won’t be posted. Some people are anti-bottled water – but that won’t stop water bottle deals from being posted. Likewise, some people are vegetarian – but grocery store meat specials are still posted.
I know where you’re coming from though. That was my first thought too 🙂 haha.
Dotty dot dot – good point. An endorsement of bottled water (I would argue that the posting represents an endorsement) may not be hypocritical as they are from two individuals, yet I have a hard time coming to terms with a promotion such as this based on the “water dilemma” posting. With everything we know about the environment, and the role that bottled water plays in this, perhaps the moral high ground is justified here. Or should be.
Dear Cindy and Ruby — thanks for your insightful feedback. Cindy, you’re absolutely right; what works for one person may not work for another and vice versa. You’re also right in pointing out that they were posted by different people (I didn’t catch that).
But on the other hand, Ruby, you raise an interesting point: “perhaps the moral high ground is justified here.” It’s a topic worthy of discussion — to what extent do we accept a “bargain” in the face of environmental (and I will include social and political) concerns? Is it even possible to be both frugal and environmentally (and socially and politically) conscious in our globalized economy?
Nestle also has a bad social record: the company continues to violate World Health Organization Marketing Code for Breastmilk Substitutes. http://www.infactcanada.ca/Nestle_Boycott.htm
It’s worth a read to see if this site is in cooperation with the code as well. For example, promoting sales of infant formula goes against the WHO code. Read the Code here: http://www.who.int/nutrition/publications/infantfeeding/9241541601/en/
Thanks!! This is great…we use alot of water when we go boating!! 🙂
hmmmm….there will always be controversy, but I think IF you chose to buy bottled water, this is a great rebate. If you chose not to buy bottled water, ignore the post. It is of no use to you.
Hey, the 9x330ml flavoured water and 12×330 ml regular water are on sale at IGA at 1.99$. That means free water 🙂 (PS: today is the last day!)
I thought they would send a gift card from the store you bought the product from… No, they will send a gift card from the store that they receive the most requests from. That’s a bummer, because 3 of the 7 options are not available in Quebec. 🙁
Mee …the gift card is for the store that YOU BUY the majority of your rebate items so it will be a retailer you shop at regardless of the prov you’re in.
Just bought 5 cases of water (12x500ml) at Walmart (Montreal) for $1.20 a case! So, I spent $6 and will get back $10. That’s free water and an extra $4 in my pocket
I sent away for this back in September, with all required fields etc and never received the coupon. I called the company that you are supposed to send it to, and they said they were never a part of this promotion. Arg.
