If you feed your little one any Nestle Good Start 2 Concentrate Liquid, Nestle issued a recall yesterday on tetrapacks and the 12 pack shown above.
The recall impacts 12 x 359 mL box (UPC 0 65000 49277 4) and Individual Tetrapak (UPC 0 65000 49285 9) with expiry/best before dates as follows:
- 512857211A | Exp : 2016MA 07
- 512957211A | Exp : 2016MA 08
- 512957212A | Exp : 2016MA 08
- 513057211A | Exp : 2016MA 09
While the recall claims that this is due to the bioavailability of nutrients in the formula, as the minerals in the formula may separate over time and appear as black particles in the concentrate, the CFIA is investigating reported illnesses for this recall.
