Seriously, you are upset because they won’t just give you a coupon for a free cake! This seems like a pretty good deal to me….$5 off your purchase or a free cake. Sweet!!
They aren’t getting any cheaper, they ran this same promo last year.
No purchase necessary unless you want to use the $5 off, then your purchase has to be over $5 for you to use the coupon.
Actually, a while back everyone was guaranteed at least a $3.00 Tim Horton’s gift card when they scratched at the till. So I kind of liked their previous promotion better than this new one. We used it for Tim Bits. Yum. 🙂
But, it is STILL nice to receive anything for free or get a discount, if you are going in there to pick up something anyways. 🙂
Nope, no purchase necessary. I go to the Customer Service counter and scratch it in front of them. Last time, I got the $3 Timmies card. I like these promos.

Last year they ran out of cakes and gave $3 or $4 off instead. I’d prefer the money off since my family can’t eat those cakes. :/
They had this promo every Sept for the last 2 years, and I know cuz they have it right before my birthday, perfect timing….. now where’s that scotch tape?
