Why are these cameras so cheap? Are they last years model, or not good quality???
It doesnt really matter if their last years models, I have one from 5 years ago and its my favourite camera ever. Its all about the quality.
Yes, it would be considered “last year’s model”, but it’s still a great little camera. DIGIC III? Mmm.
IMO, Canon is THE best digital camera available.
I only wish that it was a lithium ion battery rather then the double a’s. I wonder how quickly it chews through them. If you wanted a colour other then the red, Canada Computers has them for 10 more on clearance 🙂
I have a different model Canon Powershot. Its withstood heavy use for three years, but its the easiest to use camera ever. Very intuitive, takes great shots. When its time to replace it, I’ll definitely be getting another Canon.
oh no, it runs on double a’s!??!? that is such a disappointment.. it’s one of my pet peeves. I ordered this camera a couple of days ago and couldn’t wait to get it.. till I read the comments. I bought a canon last month for 156 + memory card + tax at walmart (lithium battery) and had it for the 7 days of my cuba vacation until it got stolen on the last day 🙁
