Bench Canada is offering a promo code that, though initially may seem small, can save you some mad money when applied to the right products. The promo code is available to be used on both regular priced merchandise and any other promotion going on at Bench, and when you used it will give you an extra 5% off on your purchase. Simply enter, PERKS, at checkout and your discount will be applied, in addition to any other sale discounts that are going on at the time.

Since I saw on the homepage that Bench Canada was already having a sale that was up to 70% off, I decided testing out my promo code in this section would yield the best results. As it just so happened, I was able to find this Answell Zip Thru hoodie marked down by 40% off, now just $49.99 (was $89.99).

After adding the hoodie to my cart, however, I discovered that an even further markdown had been applied to my order in addition to the 5% off promo code, as the hoodie was now just $23.74; rather than the $47.49 it would have been if it had just taken an extra 5% off.

I’d definitely suggest checking out the sale section, and be sure to add the items to the cart to reveal the final discount – as it can be up to 50% off the price shown in the sale in some cases! The promo code will be valid until February 27th, 2015, so be sure to keep checking back in the sale for freshly added stock until then.

Lululemon Canada is a well known retailer for high-quality and trendy workout gear, but even more so than that, they’re better known for their (normally) incredibly high price tags. This is why their “we made too much sale” is usually the only time I buy Lululemon, as most of the times I just can’t justify it – no matter how bright and cute the patterns may be! Their current sale on the Swiftly Headband, a 50% reduction, plus the free shipping, is an offer anyone would be mad to pass up.

The Swiftly Headband normally sells for $14, which is a bit much if you ask me for an accessory that’s designed to keep your hair out of your face. Right now, however, you can pick it up for just $7; a much more reasonable price tag for an item you (most likely) won’t be wearing out on a Friday night on the town.

What is great about the Swiftly Headband, is the silicone lining on the inside which prevents your headband from sliding off your head mid-run. It also is made with the same moisture wicking material that the workout tanks and jackets are made with at Lululemon, aiming to prevent sweat from dripping down your nose and into your eyes (a most painful mishap when it does occur).
The headbands are one size fits all and they come in a rainbow of different pigments to choose from, all of which will give your morning workout routine that much needed pop.

Good morning Smart Canucks! This fine Wednesday morning, the Hudson’s Bay Canada is offering you a flash sale on the entire Hotel Collection of bed and bath products, with select pieces being marked up to 60% off their original price. This sale will only be sticking around until 11:59pm EST this evening, but stock will surely sell out before then at these hot prices!

You can pick up within the 60% off sale on pillows and duvets some really great finds that will keep you and your family warm during long winter nights for the rest of the season. A queen size Primaloft Down Alternative Lightweight Duvet can be bought now for just $144 (Regularly $360) or if you’re just looking for a nice firm pillow to ease your aching neck, then you can grab this Hotel Collection Firm Down Pillow for just $200 (regularly $400).

Hotel Collection towels, though there isn’t a huge selection of them included in this sale, have been marked down to be just $15.99 per bath towel, though they are normally marked up by 40% more than that at $27.99.

You can also of course pick up bed collection sets, sheets and shams for 50% off in this sale as well. The best deal that I was able to find within this sale was on the queen size 600 Thread Count Flat Sheet (in truffle), which is now just $45.56 though usually it sells for more than double that price at $135.
The Hudson’s Bay will also offer free-shipping on orders that exceed $99, and you won’t be able to shop this sale in-store as it is an exclusive online sale.

The online deals at Princess Auto Canada are shaping up to be some of the better ones online that you’ll find on all those sneaky odds and ends that you always seem to be out of or in need of, but can never seem to place exactly where that good old measuring tape has gone off to. The sale is being offered exclusively online, and the price drops on these household and auto products will only be around until January 18th.

The one catch to these sales at Princess Auto is that the shipping and handling is not free and will be a standard rate of $6 for shipping plus an extra $0.65 per pound. Be sure that you’re aware of this before placing your order, especially if it’s on something a bit heavier as the shipping rates may out weigh your savings and actually make it not worthwhile to buy that specific item from Princess Auto.

Some of the better deals that I was able to scope out during this online sale were mainly smaller items, but still necessities that every household should have (or is missing a copy of):
- 3-piece measuring tape set, now only $3 (was $3.99)
- mini spade, now only $2.50 (was $3.99)
- 2 1/2 in. 4-edge paint scraper, now only $3.53 (was $4.99)
- 60-piece 1 in. Screwdriver Bit kit, now only $3.53 (was $4.99)
- 80-piece Industrial Big Wipes, now only $5 (was $6.99)

If you haven’t heard of Aeropostale Canada, I can guarantee you that your 12 year old son or daughter has, and would be thrilled to learn that they are currently offering an extra 50% off on the entire clearance stock until January 18th at 11:59pm EST. This offer will only be available to online shoppers, since to receive this extra 50% off you will have to enter the promo code, EXTRA50, at checkout to qualify.

In the girl’s section, there are lots of options to choose from that will satisfy your wants depending on what your in search for during this awkward in-between season. I personally find cable knit sweaters to be a great piece, no matter the time of year, as they can be layered to keep you warm or worn just as is during the warmer early spring days. A style like this solid cable-knit v-neck sweater would normally sell for $49.50, but it is currently on sale for $16 which will be further reduced to $8 when you enter your EXTRA50 code.

For the boys, the selection is not as wide as the girls, but there are still some hot finds to pick up. For instance, these slim straight destroyed light wash jeans were only $9.50 after I applied my discount to it, though they were originally being sold for $54.50.
Shipping and handling at Aeropostale Canada is a flat fee of $7 until you spend $250, after which it jumps to $25.

Guess Canada is offering an extra 50% off on their already reduced merchandise, making some of their stock drop into shockingly low price brackets; for instance, a three-piece watch collection like this feminine red, black and silver-tone set is now just $65.99. While the straps are interchangeable, you are essentially getting the variety of three watches for the price of $65.99 (normally $115), making each look (or each ‘watch’) cost just $21.99.

And if you are able to exceed the minimum of $99, you can enter in the promo code, FREESHIP99, and you’ll also receive free shipping on your order. Both the 50% off extra on sale merchandise and free shipping promo code will be available for a limited time.

One of the better finds that I was able to scope out in this Guess sale was on these sleek, foldable over-the-knee boots which are normally $149, but can be picked up today for just a fraction of that price at $70.
All of the discounts on the sale merchandise has already been made, so the price you see on the Guess site reflects the already discounted price.
If you aren’t able to exceed the $99 minimum for free-shipping, your order will have a flat fee for standard orders of $7.95.

New Balance Shoes, one of the world’s leading brands in the running shoes market, is on sale at the Hudson’s Bay Canada for up to 50% off the retail price. In this sale, the Hudson’s Bay has a variety of styles and types to choose from, including walking shoes, casual, and running sneakers that are all being sold for very reasonable prices.

While I loved the retro look of the New Balance 501 Classics in cobalt blue for running, I couldn’t really imagine myself sporting these shoes for a leisurely Sunday walk in the park (though the price tag of just $45.90 could push me in the other direction). Instead, I thought these dark blue New Balance 620 sneakers would fit that bill a lot better, and they were only a slight bit pricier at $52.80 (was $110).

There are plenty of colours available in each style as well, though some of the specific styles of New Balance 501 Classics may be a bit more limited in sizes.
The Hudson’s Bay Canada also offers free-shipping on orders that exceed $99, so if you find a pair that you fall in love with then double up and save on your shipping!

Starbucks Canada’s end of the year sale has taken all of that once so sought after (and pricey!) Christmas stock and slashed the prices by up to 40% off the original price. The sale is going on both in-store and online, but you’ll have a better chance of finding the stock you want if you shop online – as each store only gets a limited number and kind of each item.

Tumblers and cold cup travellers are starting as a low as $7.95, with the most expensive ones in the sale still being just $14.95! One of the better finds from this sale, at least I thought so, was on the Dot Collection Pike Place 16 fl. oz. tumbler which is now just $12.95, marked down from the previous price of $21.95.

If you enjoyed this year’s Christmas blend, then you still have a chance to stock up on the last bit of supplies from this year’s stock as both the whole bean and the ground options are still available in either half-pound or whole pound bags. My suggestion, would be to stock up on the Whole Bean Christmas Blend, and then freeze the extra bags you have leftover – as the coffee can be frozen and still retain most of the freshness and complex flavour profile. The Whole Bean Christmas Blend, in the half-bags, is now just $5.95 (or $13.95 for a whole pound), which is an incredible discount considering they normally sell for $9.95 and $18.95.
