Halloween coupon booklets are starting to show up at fast food restaurants.
Wendy’s: $2 donation to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption gets you eight coupons. Four free kid’s fry coupons and four Junior Frosty coupons all expiring on December 31st. Click here to see the discussion thread about these coupons.
McDonalds: $1 gets you five free product coupons. You get 2 ice cream cones coupons, 2 apple pie coupons and 1 kid size fries coupon. As with the Wendy’s coupons, these expire on December 31st. Click here to see the discussion.
Not all locations will sell these booklets so call ahead to make sure before making a special trip to buy them.
Shoppers Drug Mart stores are giving out cards with purchases offering 2000 bonus points if you update your profile.
While many of these codes are limited to a targeted set of customers and do not work if it was not sent to you, this is a store code and will likely credit if you have not updated within 6 months. You can increase your chances of these offers crediting by updating your phone number and address when you enter the promo code (change Rd to Road etc). You must use a valid email address and updating it greatly increases your chance of credit. If you use gmail, you can add a period anywhere in your username and it will still get to you but look like a new email (so myname is the same as my.name).
The code for this offer is 1041 and must be completed by October 29th. Click here to edit your profile, the promo code goes in the very first box above your email address and points for this code code will be added on or by November 11th.
The card from the store does not specify 6 months, but the terms in the confirmation email sent by the promotion do include the 6 month stipulation. It will be interesting to see if Shoppers Drug Mart enforces it.
If you snagged a coupon for a free tub or 12-pack of Yoplait Yoptimal Lactose Free Yogurt when it was offered in mid-September, don’t forget that tomorrow (October 6th) is the only day you can redeem this coupon.
Some of our forum members have found these in Walmart and Metro stores in Ontario and Sobeys in Western Canada so it seems that they are in-stores and available unlike some past one day coupons.

Cineplex have announced the date for their Community Day. Each year, Cineplex opens their doors for morning movies for free on Community Day. The movies generally start between 9am and 10:30 (depends on the location) and are family friendly movies. This year, Community Day will be held on Saturday 18th october.
Concessions are not free, but you enjoy a regular popcorn, regular fountain drink or selected candy for only $2 each with 100% of the proceeds donated to Free The Children.
