Ikea Canada will be having two separate sales going on this week. The first sale, the 50% off Winter sale, will start today and end on January 12th, and the other sale, the Midnight Madness sale, will start on Friday, December 12th and go until midnight that day. The details of the second sale are yet to be fully released, but you can check in-store at your local Ikea for more information as to what will and won’t be included; as it will vary by store.
If you go on the Ikea website right now, however, you can check out some of the deals going at right now at your nearest Ikea location. For instance, when selecting the North York location in Ontario, I was able to find this Ektorp footstool cover for only $10, previously it was being sold for 8 times that amount at $79.
This glassware set of 6 was on sale for 50% off at only $4.99, meaning each glass was just $0.83. This is a really sweet deal, as glasses (like pens and socks) seem to always go missing and you can never have enough of them kicking around the house.
This Kivik loveseat cover in light grey was found in the Edmonton Ikea sale, where it is only being sold for $99, but was previously being sold at $229; that’s over 50% off the original price! And while these are the products being advertised on the site, I’d advice either calling your local Ikea to get the full scoop as to what’s on sale, or even heading over just to peruse the merchandise as they may be keeping some of the offers for in-store buyers only.

Toys R Us Canada has an abundance of building and learning toys on sale this week, all of which are advertised in this week’s flyer, but the one that caught my attention was this LEGO CUUSOO Research Institute set which is only being sold for $24.99.
This 165 piece set features three mini female figurines, each of them show casing a different scientific profession: a paleontologist, an astronomer and a chemist.
