While Blue Nile is well known for their custom designed jewellery, specifically their Build Your Own Diamond Jewellery, this promo code will not be valid on pieces from this collection. If you’re a bit more pressed for cash, then I’d suggest checking out the gold, silver, and platinum jewellery section, specifically the earrings sets as they tend to be less expensive than the rings and necklaces. I was able to find this classic but trendy pair of modern polished hoop earrings in sterling silver (1 1/4″) for just $40, yet with the 10% off they will be reduced to being just $36.
You should keep in mind while shopping online at Blue Nile that they use FedEx to ship their products, meaning they will arrive in a timely fashion, but will cost you $25 to ship if you spend under $200. If you do exceed the $200 minimum, however, your shipping fee will be waived. A lot of the jewellery is already close to this price point, so if you are close to it I’d suggest finding an inexpensive pair of earrings to meet it since the shipping and handling is quite expensive.
I was able to find this Freshwater Cultured Pearl Garland Necklace in 14k white gold at Blue Nile being sold for just above $200 at $240. After applying the 10% Smart Canucks discount to the necklace, it was brought down to just $216 plus free-shipping.

It’s beauty week at Groupon Canada, and to treat you to a little extra nice retreat during this week of indulgence, Groupon will be offering you an extra 20% off promo code on all beauty and spa deals. This offer from Groupon, while it is quite generous (as most of the deals are already discounted by 50%-89% off), is only going to be valid for a short time as it expires at 11:59pm PDT tonight.
You will have a choice of almost any beauty and spa related service at Groupon, from full body waxes to haircuts and dyes, there’s almost anything and everything you could possibly imagine and then some. The promo code will have a $50 maximum of what can be discounted, and you will have to enter the code, SPA20, at the checkout to receive your 20% off. By using this promo code on a haircut, wash, style and either highlight or full-colour treatment at a hair salon in Yorkville (Golden Touch Medispa), I was able to pay just $31.20 for a beauty treatment that is valued to be worth $210; making this a discount of close to 85% off.
You will be permitted to use this promo code on Groupon up to three different times, but they must be paid for in three separate transactions.
I’d also recommend doing a quick Google on these Groupons before jumping the gun and purchasing a service from a spa or hair salon that you have never been to (or if you don’t know anyone else who has been to them before either) as you wouldn’t want to buy a service from a retailer who doesn’t come positively reviewed (I find Yelp! to be very helpful with this).
