The Toronto Raptors have a tough game ahead of them tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers, particularly due to the fact that their all-star point guard, Kyle Lowry, will more likely than not be sitting out for his second game in a row. Snickers Canada is getting in on the NBA betting action by offering you the chance to win 48 Snickers bars when you comment on their Facebook page to say which team you think will need a Snickers bar for their hunger throughout the game.
Personally, my I’d say that Toronto is going to need the Snickers break at half, especially if Lowry doesn’t make his return tonight. It doesn’t matter which team you say needs the Snickers though, as your name will automatically be entered in the random draw if you write a comment before 11:59pm EST. You will be limited to one entry per person, and the contest will only be open to the following provinces:
- Ontario
- British Columbia
- Nova Scotia
- Saskatchewan
- Prince Edward Island
- Alberta
- Manitoba
- New Brunswick
- and Newfoundland
Click here to enter the contest on the Snickers Facebook page.

This year’s Grammy Awards had a diverse cast of incredibly talented musicians who were nominated for the more prestigious awards of the night, like Best Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album of the Year. Right now on Google Play Canada, they are selling those award winning albums by those very musicians for the lowly price of $0.99. That’s right, you can pick up Sam Smith’s album, In the Lonely Hour, which was the winner of the Best Pop Vocal Album of the Year, for just $1.

The winner of the Best Album of the Year at this year’s Grammy’s was, much to Kanye West’s dismay, Beck with his album Morning Phase. This album too can be bought online at Google Play for just $0.99, along with last year’s nominee for Best Rap Album of the Year, Nothing Was the Same by Drake.

You will need a Google Play account to download these albums to your library, but after you have activated an account you can listen to Google Play from any device that has access to the internet (e.g. tablet, smart phone, notebook, laptop).

Staples Canada seems to always have some good deals going on, especially if you frequently check back with their Deals Centre where they are routinely updating the offers to include everything you need for your office, all the way from printers to hand sanitizers.

It’s also a good idea to keep updated with Staples weekly Staples flyer, particularly this week where they are featuring two hot buys on the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Tablet. You can either get the 10.1″ 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (in both black and white) for just $299.96, or you can get the 7″ 8GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 for just $199.96.

In this week’s Deal Centre at Staples you can pick up this Samboro Laptop Case 17″ Laptop Case for 40% off the regular price, as it is now being sold for just $36 (was $60). Or if you’re on the market for a new printer, then this hot deal that Staples has on the Epson Expression Home XP-410 Small-in-One Wireless All-in-One Printer may pique your interest.

This wireless all-in-one printer by Epson can print, copy and scan from either your computer, smart phone, or tablet. Plus, it is currently reduced by 40%, and is being sold for just $59.96 (was $99.96).
Staples Canada offers free-shipping on orders that exceed $45, or you can also opt to have your order shipped to the store.

Adidas Canada has some great sale pieces included in their clearance section right now, but if you’re looking for a spring jacket that will keep you warm during your morning commute and even extend well into the fall for some pre-winter coat use, then you should just check out this men’s Adidas Storm Parka.

If you purchase this Adidas Storm Parka in the hemp green, then you will only have to pay $75 for a coat that was originally being sold for $250, which would mean that your coat is 70% off the original price. If you prefer the dark slate colour, shown above here on the model, then you will have to pay slightly more, as it is currently on sale for $90. Though the darker colour is $20 more, you will still be saving yourself $160.
The only warning that customers should be aware of before buying the Adidas Storm Parka is that the coat fits a bit larger than the true to size fits you may be used to. Previous customers who bought the coat, and claimed to be an average build (between 5’6 – 5’11) found that they were swimming in a size small. That being said, other customers who were about 6′ found the size medium to fit perfectly. Since there are no size smalls left though, I wouldn’t recommend this coat for anyone who is a smaller frame as the medium will certainly be too big.
Adidas Canada offers free-shipping on orders that exceed $50, so no matter which colour you get in this coat you will still qualify for free-shipping.

Spring Break is fast approaching, and while you may be chomping at the bit to escape the last frost of winter here in Canada to either some tropical and sunny beach destination or a romantic ski chalet tucked away in the mountainous regions of Lake Tahoe, there is still one undesirable task ahead of you: packing. Sears Canada is making the tedious task of packing for your spring getaway a bit easier on you, or at least on your wallet, as they are having a one-day sale where select luggage pieces are being sold for up to 70% off the regular price.

If you’re going for a longer trip, say 7-10 days, then you’re probably not going to be able to squeeze all your trip necessities into one carry-on bag (unless you are a Marry Poppins). Sears is currently selling this 3-piece Roots luggage set for just $131.24, though it was previously being sold for $374.99. This 3-piece set will be able to fit nearly all of your own trip essentials, plus some of your family’s. The bags will measure 24″ for the largest expandable upright bag, 20″ for the second expandable upright bag, and the travel tote will be 15″ wide and 10″ in height.

For those of you who just need a simple carry on bag to store your laptop and other everyday essentials, then you should check out this Samsonite Boarding Bag, which is on sale for just $52.49 (was $149.99).
Sears Canada offers free-shipping on all orders that exceed $99, but you can also opt to have your order shipped to the store for a reduced shipping rate (normally about $3).

There are now only 10 days left in the 12 days of deals promotion going on at Dell Canada, meaning that you only have until March 13th to pick up the daily offerings on tablets, monitors, and many other everyday electronic accessories.

Some of the better offers picked out of today’s selection at Dell Canada’s sale was on a Dell UltraSharp 24 Monitor and a Panasonic 60-inch LED Smart TV HDTV. The Dell UltraSharp 24 Monitor has one of the thinnest borders on its 23.8″ HDTV screen, meaning you will have one of the clearest and least distracted viewing experiences. Normally, this monitor would be sold for $399.99, but today you can pick it up for $140 off that price at just $259.99.

The second hot deal from Dell’s sale is on the Panasonic 60-inch LED Smart TV HDTV, which is currently being sold for $700 off the regular price of $1,899.99 and is now just $1,199.99. This particular model uses an advanced technology, the 240 Backlight Blinking with Intelligent Frame Creation (IFC), that makes for a high quality resolution and LED screen.
These are just two of the hotter deals going on at Dell Canada today, but you can pick up smaller electronic accessories for a reasonable price as well, such as the TRENDnet 300Mbps Wireless N300 Home Router which is now just $19.99 (was $35.99).
Dell Canada offers free-shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase required.

Walmart Canada has two great deals on toys this morning within their online clearance section that would make for ideal gifts for a kids’ birthday party, or even as a nice Easter treat for your own little one.

For the child who is a self-admitted Disney fanatic, then you should consider gifting them this Disney Minnie Mouse Snack Shack Play Set which is currently on sale for just $15, regularly it was being sold for $19.94. This is an beach themed play set will keep your child entertained until the warmer weather sets in and they will no longer have to imagine themselves on the beach with Minnie and her snack shack. The full set is quite detailed, including 7 pieces, plus a pink hinged swinging door that leads the way to a hinged freezer.

This Playgo Toy Wagon Set is being sold for the great price of $30, though it was originally being sold for $50, and when I compared it with other sites (such as Sears.ca) the set was still being sold at the lofty rate of $49.99. There are 34 pieces included in this full set, but you needn’t worry about storage as they all fit neatly inside the toy wagon, which can also conveniently be used by your child to transport their toys from room to room.

The Hudson’s Bay Canada has two separate flash-sales going on today, both of which I’m sure you’ll get excited about, as the savings are quite good! The first flash-sale is on Hamilton Beach small appliances, where select pieces have all been reduced by 33% off the regular price. There are a few of the appliances that may seem not as practical, like a dual breakfast sandwich maker (now just $39.99), but then again you may live in a household that requires that two breakfast sandwiches be made simultaneously in the morning. Having grown up in a house of seven, I can definitely see where an appliance like this would come in handy, particularly on those busy Saturday mornings before basketball, soccer, and dance class.

There are some other appliances included in this flash-sale at the Hudson’s Bay that are a bit more practical for all households, like this 12-cup digital coffee maker, which is now on sale for just $39.99 (was $59.99). Or, if you do not already have a slow cooker at home, then you may be interested in this 6-Quart Intelligent Latch Lid Slow Cooker, now only $63.74 (was $84.99). The great thing about slow cookers is that you can leave them for hours to cook your dinner while you’re away at work or running errands, and this model is particularly ‘smart’ as it will automatically change over to ‘keep warm’ mode once your cooking is complete.

The other flash-sale going on at the Hudson’s Bay Canada today is on Samsonite 2-piece luggage sets, which are currently on sale for just $159.99 though they were previously being sold for $570. Each bag has 4 wheels and the larger one measures as a 24″ spinner, while the smaller more conveniently sized spinner measure 20″.
The Hudson’s Bay Canada offers free-shipping on all orders that exceed $99.

For those of you who picked up your morning copy of the Metro on your morning commute to work, I’d suggest that you hold onto that paper until your lunch break (or whenever you can squeeze in a half-hour break) to go shopping with it at your nearest retail H&M Canada. For today only, when you bring in a copy of today’s Metro, or alternatively show your Metro News app on your phone, you can receive 25% off on any one regular priced item found in-store at H&M.

This is an excellent opportunity to pick up some of the fresh stock that H&M has brought in for their spring collection. The pieces in this collection range from 70’s inspired wide leg trousers with free-flowing blouses in burnt oranges and creamy ecru, but the pieces that I found the most alluring were the bright floral knit bombers and kaleidoscope patterned slacks.

The only restrictions that H&M has on this offer with Metro is that you cannot use it in combination with any other offer going on in-store, and you will also be restricted from using it on sale items and designers collections/collaborations.

Yesterday we alerted you to the hot spring forward event going on at Gap Canada, where new spring style from the 2015 collection were being reduced by up to 40% off the regular price. Today, however, we have even better news and that is that in addition to the current 40% off sale that Gap is running, they will also be offering you an extra 25% off your total purchase when you use the promo code, GAPSAVE, at the checkout. This means that if you were able to find an article of clothing from the spring forward event that was discounted at the maximum rate of 40% off, you would then be saving yourself close to 55% off the original price. Now that’s a hot deal.

The promo code offer from Gap will only be available until March 4th at 11:59pm EST, which is conveniently the same time the spring forward event will come to an end and all of the spring collection pieces will shoot back up to their regular prices. These men’s lived-in flat front shorts were originally being sold for $44.95, but have been reduced to be just $26.97. With the extra 25% off, however, they will be further brought down to $20.23.

And if you’re planning a trip down south, then those lived-in shorts will definitely need a sunny packable to wear on top, like this heather grey lightweight polo. Originally being sold for $34.95, you can add this to your cart with the shorts and it will only cost you an extra $15.73.
The Gap Canada offers free-shipping on all orders that exceed $50, but these deals will also be available when shopping in-store.

With the spring season soon to be in full bloom, your spring sports teams will also soon be kicking off a new season and will surely need to be outfitting themselves with new cleats, skates, helmets and any other kind of sporting equipment that may protect them from injury. And while it’s important to stay safe while playing sports, it’s also nice to not add injury to insult by paying an inordinate amount of money for these necessary sporting goods. Which is why Sport Chek Canada has the Team Assist Program, where you can sign-up your team for free and begin receiving coupons and advance notice on promotional sales that will be taking place in-store.

There is a maximum number of 20 membership cards per team, and when each of you shop individually at Sport Chek Canada (only at the in-store locations) using one of those cards, you will receive coupons that will save you money on each purchase. At the end of the year, on February 29th, 2016, Sport Chek will tally all of your team’s spending and give you back a gift card that is valued at 5% of what your team spent for the year. Essentially, the more you spend the more you will get back.
In addition to the 5% back gift card, you will also initially receive on your Sport Chek Team Assist Card a $10 off coupon for your purchase of $50 or more, plus 2 free skate sharpening coupons.

If you need some inspiration for where to begin your shopping with your new Team Assist Card, then I’d suggest checking out the buy one, get one 50% off men’s and women’s footwear sale going on right now. The second pair you purchase must be of equal or lesser value, but you will be able to choose from a wide selection of styles including boots, walking shoes, running shoes, sandals, basketball sneakers and much more!
Don’t forget that the 60% off training door crasher sale at Sport Chek is also still running, and if you’re needing to re-stock on some apparel essentials before the spring sports season begins then I’d suggest checking out their selection. You can pick up basketball and soccer shorts within this sale for as low as $14.99.
