Naturalizer Canada has a great offer this week, which can be stacked on top of their other great shoe sale where select styles have been marked down by up to 70% off. The offer is the promo code NATGO15, which will save you an additional 15% off at checkout.
I tested the Naturalizer promo code out on both new styles and ones from the sale, and it works for both but I’d advise checking out the sale before splurging for the more expensive newer styles. In fact, I was able to find styles that would be suitable for spring even though they’re technically from the ‘winter collection.’
For instance, these black suede dress booties were originally being sold at Naturalizer for $169, but were brought down to being just $49.99 (already a saving of $119.01), but after the extra 15% off promo code was applied, they were reduced to being just $42.99.
Naturalizer Canada does not offer free-shipping, but instead will charge you $6.50 for the first item in your cart and then add $2 for each additional item in your order.

Canadians all across the country are standing in solidarity with their neighbours to the south by vocalizing their boycott of Ivanka Trump’s clothing line through the hashtag #baycott. Customers have been calling for the Hudson’s Bay Company to remove the Ivanka Trump line from their stores for the past two weeks now in a show of support for the U.S. people that are being disproportionately affected by President Donald Trump’s policies.
People are also using this #baycott as an opportunity to speak out against Trump’s vulgar comments made towards women that objectify and degrade their existence, a message that does not in any way adhere with Canadian values.
The Hudson’s Bay, like many other retailers that sell President Donald Trump’s daughter’s line (T.J. Maxx, Lord & Taylor and Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH), are facing increasing pressure from the public to mix politics with business as they call for them to follow Nordstrom’s example of having the line removed from the store. In the past week, six other major retailers have decided to drop Ivanka’s brand.
A quick search reveals that the Hudson’s Bay sells over 350 different products from the Ivanka line, including dresses, shoes and jewellery.
Nordstrom was the first to remove Ivanka’s line from their stores, citing poor performance in the last two quarters as the motivation for removing the brand from their stores. Since President Donald Trump’s election, however, many retailers have come under increasing pressure to distance their association with any brands/businesses that are associated with the president and his controversial policies.
For instance, after the president announced a travel ban on seven-Muslim-majority countries to the U.S., people began using the #Deleteuber hashtag in protest of the company’s associations with President Donald Trump and his controversial immigration policies. This led to 200,000 accounts being deleted and the CEO, Travis Kalanick, stepping down from his position on Trump’s economic advisory council.
The #baycott social media protest has been gaining momentum since it first appeared on Twitter on January 30, 2017. And customers of the company are not holding back in their dismay:

And with customers like this one, it will be interesting to see if the Hudson’s Bay decides to listen to their increasingly disgruntled customer base:

You can find some rather hot deals in this week’s Under Armour Canada outlet sale, where top-selling pieces, like Under Armour leggings, hoodies and sports bras, are on sale for up to 50% off. Best Buy Canada isn’t usually the place I associate with home furniture shopping, but with the markdowns they have going on right now on living room furnishings, it very well could become my go-to store!
