thats great! I absolutely LOVE using interac online. Its so easy, and since we don’t use credit cards its pretty much the only way I can shop online.
Ok just to confirm, to use the code do you have to shop by interac? Or can you just put in the code? Just wanted to double check! This along with the deal yesterday from kijiji is pretty great!
@tinad: You do not have to shop by interac; you can use the code with Mastercard or Visa and it will still take $5 off your order. Great deal with the kijiji deal yesterday. $30 worth of books for $10, and free shipping to boot! 🙂

Looks like it works with any payment method. I was going to use interac, but found out my bank wasn’t 1 of the 4 participating. I went back and switched to MC, but forgot to remove the promo code and the $5 off still showed up…woo hoo!!
I also combined it with the kijiji deal from yesterday so yeah, $30 worth of stuff for $10!!

Ah…nm….the entire purchase cannot have ANY electronics it seems. Will only work when it is JUST books, not a combination of things. Moment anything from the restrictions enters your cart it will not work.

If you collect airmiles you should access the Chapters site through the airmiles online shopping page and you will collect airmiles on your purchase too!

A warning for Christmas shoppers…..the dvd I ordered was “available” when I purchased it and confirmed as available later in the email Chapters sent.
Late last night I received another email saying ” Any item(s) remaining in your order will ship as they become available”….which means they didn’t have it in the first place.
I’ve never had this problem with Amazon.ca
^I wouldn’t fret too much they do that all the time then ship then all together lol. I got the same message yesterday and everything is now shipped.

They do have it in stock if it says in stock. They ship books and dvd/music from separate warehouses which is why you get 2 different shipments and shipment notices. My packages usually arrive on the same day. it’s great because you don’t have anything tying up your order and get things sooner.
